A Working Lab for Investigators

This partnership program aims to educate private investigators using a lab experience with real cases.

The goals of the Institute are as follows:

  1. To provide affordable and effective, cutting edge training for investigators, inspectors, and detectives.
  2. To improve access to training and real world experience which will increase the value of investigators to the community, law enforcement, families, and individuals.
  3. To give participants a cutting edge experience and training for making our communities safe and free from abduction and exploitation.
  4. To increase the number of clients who hire private investigators and investigators who may help victims of crime.

Mark Gillespie

Instructor

Mark Gillespie, owner and founder of Gillespie Security and Investigations, is a long time friend of Dollie’s and has collaborated with her to create Texas Institute of Investigation that will provide state of the art investigation training for persons interested in becoming licensed or registered private investigators in Texas.     Dottie Laster

    Executive Director of the Heidi Search Center

    Dottie Laster is the Executive Director of the Heidi Search Center. Laster is featured in the documentary on sex trafficking in Latin bars and cantinas, The Cantinera, and her direct rescue work is the subject of the MSNBC Documentary, Sex Slaves: Texas Rescue. She is the recipient of several human rights awards and has been featured in numerous publications including recent issues of Texas Monthly, Town Hall, and MORE Magazine’s Sex Trafficking’s Unlikely Angel and recipient of the Guardian Angel Award. She will be features in an upcoming Episode of Vanity Fair Confidential on Investigation Discovery.
